Our goal
Yavardi aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The site has not yet had a formal third-party accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we have done
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields
- Labels on form fields, and error messages announced to assistive technology
- A keyboard-operable mobile menu that reports whether it is open or closed
- Support for reduced-motion settings: scroll-reveal animations are disabled when your device requests reduced motion
- An interactive story on the “How Firms Operate” page that works by click, tap, or keyboard, labels each step in text (not color alone), and announces the explanation for the selected step
- Layouts that reflow on small screens and at 200% browser zoom
Known limitations
- Some pages use decorative background videos that play automatically and loop. They have no audio and convey no information, but there is no on-page pause control yet.
- There is no “skip to main content” link. Keyboard users move through the main navigation (seven links) before reaching page content.
- Some small, low-contrast decorative labels may fall below recommended contrast ratios.
We are working to address these items.
